Thoughtful and Creative Solutions

Before I moved into web and UX, I was a graphic designer, and I still am. From large-format posters to a 65+ page annual report, I love creating work people can hold, walk past or stop and look at. Here’s a look at my print, campaign and motion design across two very different worlds.

City of Brampton: Recreation

At the City of Brampton, I design for a community of more than 700,000 residents. My work helps people find their way around recreation centres, learn about programs and feel welcome in every space. I’ve designed rules and wayfinding signage, event and tradeshow displays, digital ads for BrightSign screens, the Recreation Facts and Figures book, and Buzz, our mascot, in seasonal and sport poses.

Accessible design system: A signage design system I created with Recreation leadership, so every new recreation facility build has a ready-made, accessible standard to follow.

Recreation signage: Wayfinding, rules and regulations, and event signage that helps visitors find their way, know what to expect and enjoy every space in our recreation centres.

Presentations and reports: Data-rich reports and presentations designed to be clear and easy to read, including the 65+ page Recreation Facts and Figures book.

HTML email design: Branded, accessible HTML email templates designed and coded for Recreation campaigns.

Video tutorials: Xplor Recreation app tutorials, edited with custom graphics to guide residents step by step.

Event and tradeshow signage: Bold, on-brand displays built to grab attention from across a room.
